Summer Spot Illustrations

This self initiated project brings together the brighter colours of a summer palette and motifs of a cosy outdoorsy lifestyle.

Created with merchandise and editorial spot illustrations in mind, each motif emulates the vibrant atmosphere of time in a warm summer garden.

The birds bring to mind the lively chorus that often symbolises the end of winter.

The illustrations are painted in gouache and digital media, giving a sharp finish but maintaining a looseness and hand drawn feel.

The vignettes can be seen compiled into a fun sticker sheet to the left as a stationary project.
